Fetching channel stats...
Why check YouTube channel stats?
Knowing a channel's stats helps creators research competitors, find collaboration partners, and benchmark their own growth. Marketers use it to evaluate influencers before sponsorship deals. Students use it to gauge the credibility of educational channels.
ThumbRip uses YouTube's official Data API v3 to fetch accurate, real-time statistics — the same data YouTube displays publicly on every channel page.
Why does subscriber count show as "Hidden"?
Some creators choose to hide their exact subscriber count in YouTube Studio settings. In those cases YouTube only reveals an approximate count publicly. This is the creator's own choice — our tool shows whatever YouTube makes available.
How often is this data updated?
Data is fetched live from YouTube's API every time you search, so it's always current. Subscriber counts on YouTube update in near real-time for large channels and every few hours for smaller ones.
Does this work for private channels?
No — only public YouTube channels can be looked up. Private channels and channels set to "unlisted" will return an error.
